FPFA Monthly Insights - OBBBA Information (December 2025)

I thought you might want information on the OBBBA as you squeeze in final tax strategies before year-end and consider your tax planning for 2026.  The attached is from a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® presentation I recently viewed.  It is written for a CFP® audience and is certainly not light weekend reading, but it is organized well so hopefully you can easily locate topics of interest to you.

From an investment perspective, Front Porch has been culling taxable portfolios for tax loss harvesting opportunities and monitoring capital gains distributions from its traditional mutual fund managers.  In addition, we have been working with clients on direct stock gifting to non-profits, establishing donor advised funds (DAF's), and executing qualified charitable distributions (QCD's) for IRA's.

Please let me know if you want to discuss any of these activities and/or the CFP® piece. I am also always happy to hop on a call with you and your tax professional if you would like.

Thanks,

Geoff
